Free international flights on an exotic expedition voyage through Melanesia

Encapsulating Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu, this unique and rare adventure is being offered through Australian small ship cruise specialist, Cruise Traveller, with free international flights and savings of up to A$14,290 per couple, or A$6655 for solo travellers, available for bookings made by March 31, 2022.

Cruise Traveller’s exclusive ‘Secret South Pacific’ package is a 30-night experience of a lifetime stringing together untouched, incredibly beautiful and culturally intact places few Australians have visited and only accessible together by ship.

The trip begins on October 10, 2022, with a free flight from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide to Singapore for a night’s accommodation before a flight the next day to the Indonesian island of Sulawesi where guests will board the stylish, 140-guest exploration ship, Heritage Adventurer, in Manado. Operated by NZ-based Heritage Expeditions, the spacious ship offers a restaurant, bistro, pool, jacuzzi, observation lounge, library, theatre and a wellness centre with the gym as well as a fleet of Zodiacs for complimentary, expert-led excursions ashore in every port.

The immersive, 28-night voyage through azure waters aboard Heritage Adventurer includes 26 destinations strung across Melanesia including tiny, time-forgotten volcanic islands and authentic, tropical villages far from civilisation. Ports include little-known Amsterdam Island and the idyllic cays of Raja Ampat north of New Guinea, the rich sea life in Cenderawasih Marine Park in West Papua, rare and exotic birds in the Biak and Rusbasbedas Islands, the traditional villages and lush scenery of the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea and the dense rainforests and colourful coral gardens of Madang.

Also on the itinerary are the wild waterfalls and jungle-lined beaches of New Hanover Island, the volcanic PNG town of Rabaul, unspoilt, far-flung islands in the Solomons including Tetepare, Malaita, Makira and Nendo and the stunning isles of Espiritu Santo and Ambrym in Vanuatu.

The voyage ends in Vila, Vanuatu, with a night’s hotel stay before a free flight the next day back to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Adelaide.
