Called ‘Croatian Greats and Italian Lakes’, the cruise tour begins on a high note on August 9, 2024, with a night in Venice, before guests board the elegant and spacious, 702-guest ship, Azamara Pursuit, which offers boutique-style cruising as well as a pool, two jacuzzis, six restaurants and cafes, an elegant drawing room, chic bars, cabaret lounge, spectacular observation lounge, spa sanctuary and a gym.
The eight-night journey through the Adriatic Sea from Venice to Rome takes in seven destinations along Croatia’s Dalmatian coast and Italy’s Amalfi coast including sunny Pula, Zadar and Split in Croatia, the medieval time warp of fjord-lined Kotor in Montenegro and the stunning coastal scenery in Amalfi and Sorrento in Italy. The cruise ends in Rome where guests will spend the night in a hotel to enjoy the eternal city before beginning a 12-night guided land tour back to Venice via beautiful Tuscany, the Renaissance treasures of Florence and Pisa, the spectacular Italian Riviera and the famous, shimmering waters of glamorous Lake Como. Seamlessly extending the boutique holiday, the tour is for only 18 guests and includes 18 meals.
