P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, and Carnival Cruise Line have collectively expressed their enthusiasm for the Australian government’s decision to lift all COVID-19 restrictions on cruise guests in the country. The new policy, effective immediately, aims to align the Australian cruise industry with global standards and boost consumer confidence in booking cruises.
Princess Cruises is implementing the changes and maintains that guests can look forward to “an effortless, worry-free cruise experience through Australia’s stunning landscapes.”
The relaxation of restrictions is good news for holidaymakers, as P&O Cruises Australia plans to run nearly 90 sailings across its three-ship fleet this summer. The cruises will sail from various Australian cities, including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, and Auckland, New Zealand.
Despite the eased regulations, all three cruise lines emphasized maintaining health and safety protocols to safeguard guests and crew.
Carnival Cruise Line has released 112 sailings to December 2024 to provide families and couples with exciting, value-packed holiday options. Cruises will depart year-round from Sydney on Carnival Splendor and seasonally from Brisbane on Carnival Luminosa.
The industry’s message is clear: cruising in Australia returns quickly, and there’s no better time to book your oceanic adventure.
